Inflection Point: Will 2020 be the year digital assets join the mainstream?
You are cordially invited to a lunch panel discussion with Diginex and the Global Business Blockchain Council (GBBC) at Davos with global leaders and change makers.
Despite digital assets growing into a $225 billion industry, institutional players have largely remained on the sidelines. The common challenge amongst large money managers, such as hedge funds and family offices, is where to safely and securely store large sums of digital assets. Will 2020 be the year where we reach the critical threshold and remove barriers to entry for institutional investors to enter the digital asset space? Join us to hear from experts from both the digital asset and traditional investing community, as well as from the investors themselves to discuss regulation, custody and market infrastructure, and most importantly volatility.

Enhancing transparency in global supply chains: Can technology help protect workers?
We are delighted to partner with the Interfaith Alliance for Safer Communities (IAFSC) to host a panel discussion at their Pavilion in Davos. With the introduction of anti-slavery regulations around the world, there is increasing pressure on multinational corporations to ensure their operations and supply chains are free from forced labour. In an age where technology is already widely used as an enabler for transparency in environmental aspects, it offers a unique value proposition in relation to worker wellbeing. This session convenes leaders from public and private sectors to discuss what it takes to make technology effective for empowering workers and minimizing risk of forced labour in supply chains.
